Let Me Tell You A Story

December 5, 2017

See if you can figure out what happened here. Clever boy. Love the ingenuity here! Just for the record, he did not willingly take the ottoman back where it belonged. I had to strong arm him into that. As soon as he put it back, I turned on the TV and let him pick what … More Let Me Tell You A Story

Judah Ben Hur, you are the cutest fella. Just melt my heart before bedtime, why don't ya? It's ok, I'll take these sweet gazes from you any time.
Sure it looks like I'm knocking out this list, but for every one thing checked off, another two get added. 😐
You know that brief moment of panic when the midwife measures you at 38cm and you realize that you haven't washed the baby's linens, new clothes, or prepped the organic diapers yet. Those diapers require 5-6 washes prior to use. I sure know how to keep things exciting around here!
Autism subtly shows up. Thanks for doing that on my bed and not your own. 🤦
Cuddling with all six chicks this morning. My little farm boy aka the chick magnet.
Because after a really tough day, sometimes you just need a little ice cream therapy. It won't fix or change things but if ice cream can soothe for a few minutes, then let's have ice cream for dinner tonight.
I'm so weak....came home with 4 more baby chicks today. 🤷 Two 3-week old Americaunas and two 1-day old Cuckoo Marans. Funny, our month old Silkies are terrified of the littles.
We pregnant gals in our golden boots stick together. The human is due in May, the goat kids are due in July. Thankful I won't still be pregnant when it's her turn.
Mmm...coffee beans? Cocoa Puffs? Nope. Goat poop. Anyone want a smooch with the pooch? Wish he'd stop eating our compost materials, but I do thank him for cleaning the top of the picnic table....which we shall never again sit on, much less eat on.
